JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY

Students at the Early College at Guilford created the activities available to kids at the fair, such as robotics, STEAM diversity, and yearbook design. The canned goods collected for admission go toward both Jefferson's own food pantry and A Simple Gesture, a local food pantry. By participating in the fair, you are not only helping your children develop a love of learning, but also serving your community in the process.
Virtual End-of Year Fair

Although the fair was initially going to be held in-person, our plans had to change in the wake of COVID-19. We created our first online fair platform and will be continuing to use it for our virtual events. At our May fair, our activities included a pancake cooking tutorial (picture to the right), several panels with guest speakers from STEAM careers, programming, 3D modeling, a view of the launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon, and more.
